Traylor retires from City Hall

Sandra Traylor, Administrative Assistant in the Mayor’s office will be retiring at the end of the month. A drop in retirement party is planned on April 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to come by and give best wishes in her retirement.

Colors of Cancer 5K

The South Sebastian County Relay for Life is hosting its First Annual Colors of Cancer 5K at the Greenwood High School Track on May 18. Registration is $25 and may be completed at the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce or at the Relay for Life. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Greenwood Rotary Club Lunch

The Greenwood Rotary Club will have a meeting this Friday at 12 noon. The guest speaker will be Larry Millican from Bedford’s Camera in Fort Smith. The Rotary Club meets every Friday at noon in the Means Wilkinson Community Room at Farmers Bank. The cost of the meal is $8. Please call Teresa at 996-2129 for more information.

Decoration Day approaches

The Greenwood Memorial Cemetery (430 Bell Road) will observe Decoration Day on May 4. Please feel welcome to come and decorate the stones. Donations can be sent to Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Box 2571, Greenwood, AR 72936.
