Curves Annual Food Drive

Until March 31, Curves is calling for donations of non-perishable food items. These items will be donated to the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene food program to help those in need.

Lora Lea Rice Fundraiser

A fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 2-6 p.m. on the Town Square in Greenwood. There will be entertainment, raffles, a cupcake war, T-shirt sales, a potato bar, an auction and more. All proceeds will go to the “Lora Rice Medical Fund” established at Arvest Bank.

Miss Greenwood Pageant

The Miss Greenwood Pageant will be held on April 5 at the Greenwood Performing Arts Center. The pageant is for ages 2-18. For more information, contact Liz Earnhart at 479-719-9113 or via email at earnhartliz@yahoo.com.

Hackett Car Show

The 10th Annual Hackett Hot Rod Car Show and Poker Run will be held on April 5 at the Hackett City Park. The car show benefits the Hackett Senior Class of 2014. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a $20/vehicle or motorcycle registration fee. The Poker Run begins a 9 a.m. and costs $10/hand. The last bikes will be out at 11 a.m. Trophies will be presented at 3 p.m. For more information, contact Tracie Opolka at tracie.opolka@hacketthornets.org.

Retired Teachers meeting

The South Sebastian Retired Teachers Association will meet on Monday, April 7 at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Farmers Bank Community Room. “Are you tired of snow, ice and weather? Are you ready to get out and work in your garden and yard?” Dollie Gage asks. “Then come and hear our program on gardening.” All retired public school employees are invited to attend.
