Greenwood gets new Mayor
The election for Greenwood’s new mayor between Doug Kinslow and Alexander Selkirk was final yesterday. The results were not in before this edition went to press. Please check our website at www.greenwooddemocrat.com or Greenwood Democrat on Facebook for an update. The way the primary election works with party voting, the votes for Mayor could not be tallied until the election was complete.
The Greenwood Democrat will be closed on Memorial Day, May 26. The deadline for the May 28 issue of the Greenwood Democrat will be Friday May 23 at noon.
