M*A*S*H Bash Blood Drive

Kick off the summer by giving blood with Arkansas Blood Institute (ABI), 5300 S. U Street, Friday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those who are healthy and age 16 or older* are encouraged to donate blood and will receive collectors’ edition M*A*S*H Bash T-shirts, while supplies last.

SSCRTA Meeting

The South Sebastian County Retired Teachers Association will meet on Monday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Farmers Bank Community Room. This will be a planning meeting for next year. All retired public school personnel are invited to attend.

Guitar-B-Que

Live Music! Scooter’s Barbecue! No Admission Fee! Guitar-B-Que is back at the Bell Park Amphitheater on Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. Jason and Jill Wagoner along with other area musicians will be performing.

Next Step Homeless Services 5K run and Walk

The 2nd Annual Honor & Duty 5K Fun Run and Walk to End Veteran Homelessness will be held Saturday, June 14th, at Chaffee Crossing. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. at Wells Lake in Chaffee Crossing. Registration fee is $25 for those who register and pay by May 31st. A free t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register and pay by May 31st. Registration from June 1 to June 14 will be $30. Proceeds from the race will go to Next Step Homeless Services (formerly Next Step Day Room).

Summer Revival

Kory Kinslow Ministries will be having a Summer Revival on June 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. each night. The revival will be held at the Farmers Bank Community Building on West Center Street. Evangelist Kory Kinslow will be preaching and there will be Christian music from several local artists.
