Bulldog Banquet

The Annual Greenwood Bulldog Senior Banquet will be held at the GHS Student Union at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the main Farmers Bank.

New Gallery Hours

The Art Guild Gallery at the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce will now be open Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m until 3 p.m.

Free pet registration

During the month of January you can register you pets for free free. You can register them with any of the three local vets or take them to city hall and register through the water department.

Bulldog Breakout at Beef O’Brady’s

On Saturday, January 11th, Bulldog Breakout is sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast at Beef O’Brady’s. Serving time runs from 7:30 until 10:00am. Tickets are $5; please see Mrs. Dixon at the High School or any Senior for tickets. All proceeds will go toward Breakout, a safe celebration for Greenwood’s 2014 Graduates.

Dixie Theatre fundraising continues

There is a Dixie Theatre fundraiser set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 25. The event will take place at the Mansfield City Hall. In addition to live bluegrass bands, there will be a dinner and concessions. For more information, call Becky at 479-928-5552.

ATU host Time-Out for Tech

All high school seniors and their families are invited to Time-Out for Tech 2014, which will be hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Office of Admissions on Thursday, Feb. 13.

The annual preview day provides prospective Arkansas Tech students with a chance to learn more about the academic programs, student housing options and campus life opportunities available on the Russellville campus.
