Annual Book Sale

The Friends of the Library are now taking donations of good used books for their Annual Book Sale. Books may be dropped off at the Sebastian County Library during normal library hours. The Book Sale will start on October 19.

Bell Park Fall Fest

The 9th Annual Bell Park Festival will be held Nov. 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. at North Main and Bell Park Road in Greenwood. Admission is free and vendors are allowed to set up for free. The Festival will have carnival rides, bounce-a-rounds, vendor booths, games, crafts, food, hay rides and a petting zoo. This event is sponsored by Greenwood Parks & Recreation and A & P Commission.

New Paintings at the Art Gallery

The Greenwood Art Gallery has just set up new paintings. It is located at the Chamber of Commerce on the Square. The Art Gallery will be open two days a week: Monday and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. This rotation of artwork, from the Greenwood Art Guild, features the following artists: Nina Looper, Shirley Rambin, Martha Efurd, Linda Faber, Lorrie Bridges, Sharla Derry, Lisa Clay, Julie Mayser, Jeanette Hunnicutt and Teri Hicks.

Bell Park Fundraiser

“An Evening in the Park with Tim Ernst” Sunday November 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Senators Ed Wilkinson Pavilion at Bell Park. Guest speaker is Arkansas’ leading wilderness photographer, Tim Ernst. Program and Dinner is $30 per person or a table for $300 includes 8 seats. Tickets are available at Osborn Insurance Agency, Greenwood Chamber, Farmers Bank and Johnson Dermatology.
