Happy April from the Village!

We hope you all had a very blessed Easter. We sure did.

The thoughtfulness of our community never ceases to amaze me. We were blessed with many special visitors throughout the month of March. We would like to thank the members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for once again sharing not only some sweet treats, but also the true meaning of the Easter holiday. Your cards and gifts meant so much to everyone.

We would also like to thank the local Girl Scouts for the very cute stuffed animals that now adorn each resident’s bed. Everyone looks forward to watching little kids hunt for Easter eggs. Thanks to Little Blessings Day Care, our residents were not left out. They so enjoyed watching their little faces light up each time they added another egg to their baskets.

We’ve had so many sweets the last few days! Many special thanks to Julz Bakery for the tasty donuts, to Angela D. for the yummy cake pops, and to Doris Moy for the filled cookies. We’re all praying for sunshine so we can walk off some of that sweetness! We are looking for new activity ideas at the Village. If you or your group are interested in spending some time with us, please feel free to contact us at 996-9945. Devotionals, music, and visits from little ones are some of our favorite activities. That’s all for this week. Until next time, God bless.
