Seth Woodhull is a Greenwood native and United States Marine pilot. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 2006. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., graduating in 2010 and choosing the Marine Corps for his commission as 2nd Lieutenant.
After the Academy, Woodhull attended Marine Basic School and Foreign Language School in Quantico, Va. and flight schools in Pensacola, Fla. and Corpus Christi, Texas. He received his Pilot’s Wings on September 13, 2013. Additional flight training for the Osprey was completed at Marine Corps Air Station in New River, N.C. earlier this month.
Recently promoted to 1st Lieutenant, Woodhull was home for a few weeks visiting family and seeing friends, then returned to North Carolina with his wife, Brenna. The couple will soon depart for Okinawa, Japan
