Time for Angel Tree applications

The Ministerial Alliance will be taking Angel Tree applications in the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Community Room from 9 a.m. until noon on November 2.

Head of household must apply with proof of current address along with Social Security Card for each member (children 12 and under with different last names must have birth certificate with SS card), Medicaid cards, proof of expenses, proof of all income in home that includes pay stubs for each individual over 18 in home, DHS letters regarding current benefits, SSI/SSA letters regarding current benefits and Child Support letters regarding current benefits.

Bell Park Fundraiser

“An Evening in the Park with Tim Ernst” Sunday November 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Senators Ed Wilkinson Pavilion at Bell Park. Guest speaker is Arkansas’ leading wilderness photographer, Tim Ernst. Program and Dinner is $30 per person or a table for $300 includes 8 seats. Tickets are available at Osborn Insurance Agency, Greenwood Chamber, Farmers Bank and Johnson Dermatology.

Upward Bound

First Baptist Church in Greenwood is looking for new basketball and cheerleading sign-ups. Boys and girls from kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to sign-up at the ROC or online at greenwoodfbc.com. The registration fee is $65 from now through November 7 which includes registration fee and uniform. Games will be played on Saturdays from January 11-March 8.
