U.S. Sen. John Boozman visited the Sebastian County Fair in Greenwood on Friday, before he began an “agriculture tour” in the state.

Boozman, R-Ark., talked with fair participants while touring the livestock exhibits.

As part of his agriculture tour, Boozman will be visiting areas hit by flooding in May. Last week, Boozman visited with officials in Yell, Scott and Polk counties to talk about flooding recovery and toured a Scott County farm affected by flooding.

Boozman’s agri tour is “to highlight the importance of the farm bill re-authorization to Arkansas’s agricultural community,” states to a news release from his office.
