Greenwood Chamber of Commerce welcomed new Chamber member, Greenwood Glass to Greenwood with in a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, June 11th.

Greenwood Glass opened on Friday, March 1st, 2013. Owners, Dustin and Candice Knighten of Etna chose Greenwood as the site for their business. “Greenwood has a brighter spirit of people,” says Candice Knighten.

The two visited other towns looking for just the right place to bring their excitement about glass, but Greenwood, the Knightens said, made them feel as if they were glad they were here. The small town welcome, enthusiasm, and willingness to help from the Assessor’s office reminded them of their own motto of customer service.

Greenwood Glass is an all-around glass shop repairing and replacing auto glass and heavy equipment glass, business doors and windows, windows and doors for the home and mobile homes, screen doors, shower doors, mirrors, table tops, picture frames, and camper windows.

Standard windshield repairs require one-day advance notice and can be replaced in 1 hour on site or at the shop. Twenty-four hour emergency service is also offered.

Greenwood Glass is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers are welcome to stop by their office at 12311 Hwy 96 or call 996-2003.

“I want people to feel and know they have come to a place they can trust and return for great customer service and a job well done.” says Candice Knighten.
