Heavens 2 Betsy is a unique group of talented kids that love music. They will perform first followed by Kerri Owenby’s dance group and the Praise Ringers Handbell Choir.
Heavens 2 Betsy members come from varied musical backgrounds and feel that their dynamic differences have been the key to their success. Nate Garvey, the folk musician, is on banjo, guitar and mandolin. Drummer and guitarist Matt Branum provide the punk rock influence while Colton Gudgell brings the hard rock with his electric guitar. Rylee Bagwell rounds the band out with vocals and rhythm guitar.
John Lovett from the Times Record described them as a ‘‘stellar mix made for the musical heavens’.’ Heavens 2 Betsy won the Variety Division at the Sebastian County Fair, the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair and the Arkansas State Fair. Maverick of KMAG invited them to open for the Swon Brothers and Kristen Kelly. They have also performed at Kendra’s Voice in Ozark, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Greenwood’s Fall Festival and numerous private events.
