Harvey L. Aguirre

Rev. Harvey L. Aguirre, 75, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in his home. He pastored churches in California, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas and served as a missionary in Mexico. He was a graduate of Mid-American Christian University in Houston, Texas and Gulf Coast Bible College, director of Randall Bible Institute of Greater Fort Smith, member of Greenwood First Freewill Baptist Church; 32nd degree Mason and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral service was Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Greenwood First Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary; two daughters, Laura L. Aguirre and Kimberly A. Garcia both of Greenwood; five brothers, Herman, Edward, Ben and Lloyd Aguirre all of Oklahoma and Donnie Aguirre of New Mexico; two sisters, Francis Geenhaw of California and Delores Chisum of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Tyler J. Lincks , Taylor D. Lincks and Raven D. Garcia and one great grandson, Conner Lincks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Valentine Aguirre and two brothers, Roque and Tommy Aguirre.

Pallbearers were members of the Greenwood First Freewill Baptist Church.
