Patricia “Pat” James, 79, of Hackett went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Greenwood. She was the retired owner of the Washburn Store, and also worked at Stewart Drugs in Greenwood. She was a member of the Washburn United Methodist Church and attended the Greenwood United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Dorothy Swain; one grandson, Travis Moss, and one brother-in-law, Kenny Vinson.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Day and husband Mike of Hackett, and Donna James of Barling; three sons, Michael James and wife Becky of Greenwood, Pete James and wife Kim of Greenwood, and Terry James of Greenwood; two sisters, Carol “Peg” Williams and husband Jerome “Hap” of Danville, and Sharon Vinson of Atkins; three brothers, Jerry Swain and wife Louise of Morrilton, Ronnie Swain and wife JoAnn of Atkins, and Donnie Swain and wife Brenda of Fayetteville; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Tuesday, April 8 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, with burial at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
