Phyllis Ann Coleman Cox, 60 of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. She was born on January 8, 1953 in Fort Smith to John and Eula Quarry Coleman, who has preceded her in death. She was a retired medical coder for Cooper Clinic and a member of Greenwood Church of Christ.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her brother, John Coleman and his wife Johney of Bella Vista; a niece, Lori Benson and her husband Billy, of Mint Hill, N.C. and two great nieces, Ashleigh and Addlyn Benson. She is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Coleman, Tommy and Jeff White, Billy Benson, Bill Quarry, Landy Doyle, Jr., George and Danny Combs.
Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
