Roger Wayne Pschier

Roger Wayne Pschier, 67, of Greenwood, Ark. passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Austin Powder Company, U.S. Army Reserve veteran, member of Greenwood First Baptist Church and Vache Grasse Men’s Golf Association.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Hampton Cemetery in Branch under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; four sons, Dwayne Pschier of Greenwood, Dwyatt Pschier and wife, Molly of Greenwood, Derrick Pschier and wife, Lita of Liberty, Okla. and Doug Pschier and wife, Tamayra of Van Buren; one brother, Jerry Pschier and wife, Shirley of Greenwood; one brother-in-law, Rodger Smith of Greenwood; two sisters, Ann Tucker and husband, Warren of Dayton and Donna Schrader of Barling; four grandchildren, Paige, Mikaela, Peyton and Haylee Pschier; five inherited grandchildren, Ashley Parks, Robin Swaim, Ashley Lewis, Josh Denny and Courtney Moon and two inherited great grandchildren, Konner and Kooper Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bernice Pschier, one brother, Charles Pschier and one brother-in-law, Mark Schrader.

Pallbearers were Jerry Carter, Dale Carter, Charlie Miller, Willie Don Solesbee, Richard Tucker, Nathan Hile, Keith Pschier and Kevin Pschier. Honorary pallbearers were Don Basham and Tom Willhite.
