<p>Roy Cox, Agri/Welding teacher at GHS demonstrates acetylene welding to his class on Friday, March 6th. He stressed to his students the importance of the resting hand when welding. Cox has been teaching at GHS for 8 years and teaching for a total of 37. Students were working on a variety of welding projects which is a large part of the career pathways or CAP program. Cox requires that students learn and master several welding skills to pass the course. Cox also teaches animal science which shows and trains animals for the county fair. Students in class remarked that Cox always says, “Life if about being a good person.”</p>
