Beautiful Inc., the nation’s premier community...

<p>The class of 2016 paraded through the halls of the East Hills and Westwood Elementary Schools last week. Graduation will be May 20 at the high school at 7:30 pm. Greenwood graduate and current Southern Miss Head basketball coach Doc Sadler will be the commencement speaker.</p>

<p>Greenwood Mayor Doug Kinslow and Kristin Faulkenberry get their hands dirty on Earth Day to plant a tree behind City Hall. Several city employees came together to plant eight trees in all. City Employees planted; two Fugi Apple trees, one Red Delicious, one Golden Delicious, one Alberta Peach, one Georgia Peach and two Plum Trees.</p>

<p>Rachael Bunn from Fort Smith will be participating in the Artfest coming to Greenwood on May 7. Artists will be selling the work up and down the walking trail from the Coal Miner’s Memorial to the Betty Wilkinson Senior Center from 9am to 5 pm. Bunn says her style of art is mostly pop art. Bunn’s paintings are acrylic paint on stretched canvas.</p>
