<p>Alyssa Crase, (left table), Megan Hartness (center table) and Sarah Elkins (right table), all members of the 2015 State 5A Girls Basketball Championship Team recently signed letter of intent to play basketball at the college level. Hartness, daughter of Melissa Mathews, will play at Henderson State in Arkadelphia. Elkins, daughter of Terri Jones, will play for Lyon College in Batesville and major in Biology (pre-med). <p>The inaugural Splash Dash 5K Color Fun Run on Saturday, May 2 was a great success with 225 runners. The run was organized by the Greenwood High School chapter of River Valley Youth Move to promote May as Mental Health Awareness Month. The run utilized approximately 80% of the Greenwood trail system. Sponsors for the event were Bishop Family Dentistry, Farmers Bank, Grand Master P DJ Entertainment, Mark’s Laundry of Ft. Smith, Splash Dash Car Wash, Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center, and Youth Move Arkansas.</p>
