Hackett High School held its 2013-14 Basketball Homecoming Ceremony on Monday, January 13th, as the Hackett junior high hornets hosted Johnson County Westside. The ceremony included an introduction of the homecoming royalty, their escorts, and the attendants. Following the introductions of the homecoming royalty, the junior high and senior high queens were crowned. Madison Byrd was crowned the junior high basketball homecoming queen, while Nicki Lasiter was crowned as the senior high basketball homecoming queen. April Spence, Hackett High School teacher, emceed the ceremony. The Hackett High School cheerleaders decorated for the event and participated in the ceremony, led by their sponsor, Tracy Cooper. The following list details the entire homecoming royalty, their escorts, and the attendants:

Royalty and Escorts:

7th Grade Maid: Miss Taylor Burrows. She is escorted by her father Marc Burrows and Hunter Post, son of Robert and Dianne Post, and Aaron Silva, son of Joe and Michelle Silva. Taylor is the daughter of Kandee Burrows and Marc Burrows and granddaughter of MaryAnn Fortner, Mike Burrows, Bonnie Cravey and Rick Cravey. Hobbies and activities include playing basketball and tennis.

7th Grade Maid: Miss Cierra Jeremiah. She is escorted by her father DJ Jeremiah and grandfather Dale Johnson and Trevor Gates, son of Tommy and Nikki Gates, and Traiden Hall, son of Candie Hall and Ralph Hall. Cierra is the daughter of DJ Jeremiah and Carey Jeremiah and granddaughter of Dale Johnson and Kathy Johnson. Hobbies and activities include playing basketball and attending church.

8th Grade Maid: Miss Madison Bailey. She is escorted by her father James Bailey and Tyler Edwards, son of Carla and Jonathan Mathis, and Beau Nelson, son of Ricky and Julie Nelson. Madison is the daughter of Tura and James Bailey and granddaughter of Lenare and Shirley Hanry and Bernadette Bailey. Hobbies and activities include playing basketball and softball.

8th Grade Maid: Miss Haley Davis. She is escorted by her father Sonny Davis and Tanner Hamilton, son of Missy and Marty Hamilton, and Malachi Crone, son of Brandi and Draper Crone. Haley is the daughter of Sonny and Christy Davis and granddaughter of Barbara and J.V. Shaw and Dianna and Butch Prater. Hobbies and activities include attending church and cheering.

9th Grade Maid: Miss Sydney Bobbitt. She is escorted by her uncle Greg Martin and Matthew Anderson, son of Nancy Anderson and Zen Valencia, son of John and Natalie Valencia. Sydney is the daughter of Cathey and Rick Alexander and granddaughter of Teri Roth and Brant Bobbitt and great granddaughter of Margie Peerson. Hobbies and activities include playing basketball and spending time with friends.

9th Grade Maid: Miss Madison Byrd. She is escorted by her father Wesley Byrd and Blaine McFarland, son of Jennifer McFarland and Curtis McFarland, and Ely Stormes, son of Ty and Holley Stormes. Madison is the daughter of Wesley and April Byrd and granddaughter of Bobbi and Randy Gann, Bobby Byrd and Robin and Roger Richey. 10th Grade Maid: Miss Brittany Post. She is escorted by her father Robert Post and Jantzen Terrell, son of Jackie and Stephanie Terrell, and. Brittany is the daughter of Robert and Dianne Post and granddaughter of Gorge and LeaAnna Post and Benny and Marta Henry. Hobbies and activities include riding her horse and playing basketball.

10th Grade Maid: Miss Briannah Steeful. She is escorted by her brothers Brooks Norris and Brevan Steeful, and Colby Hall, son of Gary and Susie Hall, and Noah Fisher, son of Melissa and Kenneth Fisher. Briannah is the daughter of Brian and Kim Steeful and granddaughter of Ken Steeful and Cheryl Ingrasha. Hobbies and activities include cheerleading.

11th Grade Maid: Miss Nikita Love Forbus. She is escorted by her father Larry Forbus and Jake Walker, son of Sandy Walker and Keith and Tonya Walker, and Tanner Womack, son of Don and Andrea Womack. Nikita is the daughter of Larry and Brenna Forbus. She is a band member and participates in upward bound.

11th Grade Maid: Miss Emily Nicole Goforth. She is escorted by her father Mark Goforth and Kody Taylor, son of Keith and Jodi Taylor, and Colton Byers, son of Brian and Caren Byers. Emily is the daughter of Mark and Paula Goforth and granddaughter of Freda Dunn and J.W. Dunn. She is a member of the Hackett High School marching band and bowling team.

12th Grade Maid: Miss Nicki Lasiter. She is escorted by her father Don Lasiter and Gage Cantrell, son of William Cantrell and Bridget Hasley, and Buddy Nichols, son of Terrell Nichols Jr and Traci Nichols. Nicki is the daughter of Don Lasiter and Lanetta Lasiter and granddaughter of David Lasiter and Sarah Yates. Hobbies and activities include shopping and working on yearbook.

12th Grade Maid: Miss Haley Marie Stringer. She is escorted by her father Chris Stringer and Zach Ray, son of Eddie and Sherrie Ray, and Jestin Morse, son of Shay Morse and Natalie Valencia. Haley is the daughter of Chris and Cristal Stringer and granddaughter of Jessie and Nancy Stringer and Jim and Debbie Welch. Hobbies and activities include attending church and playing softball.
