Recently, the Greenwood Bulldog Varsity team wrestled at the Maverick Conference in Wagoner, Okla. Taylor Compton won 1st at 138 lbs. That took his record to 37-1 on the season. Drew Dundee finished 4th at 182 lbs. The Bulldogs finished 7th out of 18 teams.

The Greenwood Bulldog JV team also wrestled, although they were at the Fayetteville Wrestling Tournament. Jadrien Flores took 1st at 170 lbs.; Trenton Cowan finished 2nd at 152 lbs.; Evan McClure (126 lbs.) and Charlie Scott (160 lbs.) both finished in 4th place.

The Bulldogs will finish out their season on Feb. 14th and 15th at the Stephen’s Center at UALR in Little Rock for the State Wrestling Tournament.
