The River Valley Bulldogs are a 10U travel baseball team based out of Greenwood. The team has players from as far away as Little Rock. The Bulldogs had an overall record of 33-17 during their regular season before placing third in the State Tournament in Conway, Ark. earlier this year. Third place earned them a chance to join the 13 other teams heading to the World Series in Broken Arrow, Okla. on July 6. After four days of competition, the River Valley Bulldogs returned to Greenwood as the 2013 World Series Champions.
