Hackett vs Alma

As the end of the bowling season nears, focus turns to preparing for post season. The Lady Hornets are preparing to compete for the district title in conference. In their match with Alma, they got a season high of 183 from Tristian Anderson, consistent scoring from Emily Goforth, and the addition of Summer Smith who rolled a 112.

In boys action, Alma just wasn’t enough for the Hornets. Ian Bellisario and Hunter Fuller put up a 201 and 200 respectively. Two other Hornets set season highs with Colby Garrett scoring a 183 and Garrett Wilson posting a high of 169 in the first game, only to raise it again with a 183 in the second. The Hornets took the match 12-1.

Hackett vs Greenwood

Hackett’s Lady Hornet bowling didn’t quite have enough to beat the Lady Bulldogs; however, the Lady Bulldogs didn’t have enough to beat Hackett either. The girl’s teams left the match with a 6.5-6.5 tie after Hackett came from behind. The addition of Nikita Forbus to the bowling team made it possible for the Lady Hornets to compete in the match.

Greenwood boys forced Hackett to up their game to try and keep pace. Hunter Fuller led the Hornets with games of 208 and 229. Three other Hornets, Colby Garrett (191), Ian Bellisario (203), and Logan Bivins (148) set season highs. Greenwood took the match 11-2. Next up for Hackett is Ozark at Bowling World.
