McCorckle set a new GJHS record with a pole vault of 11’ 6”.

Bailey McCorckle, an 8th grade pole vaulter, just competed at the USA Junior Track and Field Olympics. She finished 3rd in her division.

McCorckle’s hard work and dedication paved the way to the junior olympics. She won in Little Rock to earn a spot at the meet in St. Louis where she won again to qualify for the junior olympics. Along the way she set a new Northwest Arkansas Junior High Regional Track Meet record with a pole vault height of 11’ 6”. This is also a new Greenwood Junior High School record.
